A day at the Park part II

We took advantage and started taking pictures of the car because the scenery was perfect. We started taking pictures when the sun was setting that is how we achieved the contrast in the few pictures. I am really happy with the outcome. Enjoy the pics.

A day at the Park

Sorry for not posting in a while,  i have just been jam packed with school stuff. So a few days ago we went to a park, it was really really nice weather so we decided to take advantage. There was a really nice lake, as you can see, and this long bridge that connects the lake all the way around. There were also dogs playing around in the lake but unfortunately i didn't get a few pictures of that. This day is going to be divided into 2. One is this part and the other will be some car pictures we took.

Garage 2

So we went back to the same parking garage as last time but this time WITH THE NEW TRIPOD :D. I think the pictures came out so much better and crisper. Sorry if the pictures look almost the same, that was just the only place where it was perfect to test out the night scene. Enjoy the pics.

New Tripod

This is a Targus TG-6660TR Tripod - 66" with 3-Way Panhead, Quick Release Leg Locks. We bought it at Radio Shack for about $45.00 and it comes with a 5 year limited warranty so I think it was a pretty good deal. I think we are going to go back to the parking garage within the next few days so we and you guys can see the difference between free hand night shooting and using an actual tripod.


We were so excited that we bought this tripod that we went out and tried it out. Now it was about 3pm so you can't really tell that we used  a tripod but it was still neat to be there  using one. Here are the pics and enjoy :)

Garage

We went to a parking garage because we thought that the pictures would come out AWESOME there and they definitely did. The lights from the garage gave it a cool effect and we even cleaned the car up a bit so it would come out nicer. I wanted to do a few solo pics cause I thought the backdrop would be cool. Hope you enjoy the pics. Let me know what you think... if you want more car or an equal amount of people and car or what. Open to ideas :).

Some pictures may come out blurry because our hand were shaking and night pictures are super sensitive. We might invest a tripod for future pictures.

New Camera

I recently became the proud owner of the Samsung TL225. It is probably one of the best point and shoot cameras out there. It has really made me think about the pictures that I am going to take and made a bit interested in photography.

The car in the photo is VW GTI 1.8T. My boyfriend wanted to take a shoot of the car and wanted me to be in the some of the pictures. I know the blog may resize the pictures but I am really happy with the outcome and the pictures came out crisp and clear.
