Nail Polish Haul

Sorry I haven't been posting much. I had a HUGE test to study for and that was the only thing on my mind. I took it today and treated myself to a few nail polishes to boost up my mood because I when I finished with that test, I had no idea whether if I did good or not. Anyways, LETS SEE THOSE NAIL POLISHES :)
This is just a basic pure black. These nail art bottles have super thin long brushes perfect for making any lines in any directions

This white is nice, thick and creamy. Just what you want in a nail polish. Perfect for the classic French tip

My first mint nail polish. Can't wait to see how it looks!
This caught my eye instantly. It has about 2-3 different of blue-green. Its SOO pretty
This color seems to be very good consistency as well. I may hold this off for the Fall though.

This lipstick is by CoverGirl. It stays for a decent time (prob about 4-5 hrs), I have put it to the MAXIMUM tests though so I don't know if it'll last through dinner. I am in love with this coral-y color. I think I am going to be wearing this all summer long.

Thanks for reading and til next time.
:)

Outfit of the Day

Today my boyfriend and I headed out to the farmer's market. It was SUPER hot outside so I decided to wear the least amount of clothing as possible :). We didn't end up buying any fruit or vegetables because we had already gone to walmart a few days before hand, but it was nice to just walk around and get outside of the house. We did end up buying a bag of freshly popped popcorn. I think it was homemade too. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Charlotte Russe and Bath Body Works Haul

Went to Charlotte Russe!!! I absolutely love that store. I miraculously didn't buy shoes, very proud of myself lol.

I did buy a few things nothing major.

This swatch was only with ONE coat, this is great!

I never knew Charlotte Russe sold nail polishes until I went in today and saw them. These were only $3.50 which is a BARGAIN!!! I was thinking of putting a base on of a solid color and then adding the glitter on top... We'll see what happens.

This perfume smells awesome. I don't really know how to describe it. It doesn't smell flowery, but it does have a girly scent to it. It was $10.50 for 50mL worth of perfume. It isn't a body spray, definitely something you put on for a night out on the town ;)

This dress is PERFECT for a nice summery day OR you can dress it up with some heels and jewelery. It is nice flow-y and hits me a few inches above the knee. The elastic band really gives you a form fitting / hourglass look!!! I LOVE this dress and was only $24.99!

This is what I bought at Bath & Body Works. My mom had a body butter and I tried it out and LITERALLY feels like butter on your skin!! It is so soft and nourishing. I am glad I have one of my own. I like to use it right out of the shower, after I dry myself off a bit. This was $15.

Enjoy!

Sedona Lace Brush Contest

Make up Brushes   -- click here to see the brushes that I would like to win!

I do not own the brushes but I would really love to win these brushes. They look super SOFT. One of the best things about brushes, is how soft the hair is. These brushes must feel like pillows when you apply your makeup because of the fact that Sedona Lace makes sure that each bristle is designed for MAXIMUM performance. The best thing about this brush set is that it has 12 essential brushes. This set would be perfect for me to expand my collection because I only have the essentials and I constantly wash them which is wearing them out. These 12 brushes are perfect for everyday looks because it brings both eye brushes and face brushes. Another thing that I love, is that they really pay attention to detail. For example, the set comes in pink, for the girly girls, and black, for the chic and classy girls which appeals to every woman out there. Their brushes are handled very carefully with each brush handle being glossed and making sure everything is glued together.

Sedona Lace seems like a very intuitive company and I would love to win these brushes and be able to put on make up with perfect precision with the aid of this brush set.

May Favorites

So these are my May Favorites!!! Some of these products are just stuff I have had that I fell in love with all over again. Don't you love it when that happens???

Excuse the messy eyebrows. Also my camera couldn't capture the SHIMMER in my eyes but trust it was SHIMMERING!!

I absolutely love this sparkling shadow. This is one of the old favorites I was talking to you about. I don't know if you can still get it but it is from the Beauty Rush collection from Victoria Secret in the color 'Goldblinger'. This shadow is perfect for summer cause on those SUNNY days, it hits this eye shadow perfectly and you have a natural sparkle to your eye ;)

With Flash: more true to color

This blush gives you that perfect flush to your cheeks. It looks like you have been outside for a while (but with the bonus of not looking sweaty). The highlight part also adds a bit of sparkle to your cheeks. I like this blush duo because you can also use them individually or you can layer them or add one on top of the other (as you would when applying bronzer & blush). This also from VS in the color 'Fresh'

This concealer works wonders. Its Covergirl smoothers in the color 'Light' in the # 710. It does have a bit of a pink undertone. I bought it at my local drugstore (CVS, Walmart, etc) for about USD$7. It is a bargain and obviously does not compare to high end concealers but this does do the job for me. It hides blemishes and bags under the eyes.

What would summer be without any moisturizer? What I love most about this moisturizer is that it already has SPF 15 which is beneficial against those harmful UV rays. It does smell like sunblock, which I like because it reminds me of the beach :). I usually apply this right before I put on any type of makeup onto my face so I can have a nice, clean, and protected base/face. This is from Olay for Normal skin types

This is my ALL time favorite lip moisturizer. It has SPF 15 too and I feel like it stays on for HOURS! I usually put it on in the morning before going to class and by the time I come home, I still don't feel the need to remoisturize (unless I ate on campus that day).  Blistex medicate lip balm

Last but not least, powder! I usually don't like using any type of liquid applications on my face during the summer because it has the tendency to look streaky if you are outside for a long time. I say this because I don't know if you are like me, but in a hot summer day if I am outside for about half hour you can see the sweat running down my face (I know, I know... not a pretty sight). I usually apply this last and it gives a bit of polished look. My camera wasn't focusing right (poor thing was probably exhausted) but this is in the color NC30 from MAC - Select Sheer/Pressed

HAVE A GREAT DAY BEAUTIFUL!
